![]() ![]() Usually I like my images to look more "real." I softened the baby's skin (using the method above) and removed blemishes in Photoshop, but I used the eye brightener, color bleach filter, and green grass filter (turned down very low) on this one. ![]() I did a lot more than I normally do, though, just to play around. I'm attaching an image I retouched today with AutoFX. Open your file, press Control-J (if you're on a PC) to duplicate the layer, go under the Filter menu, choose Gaussian Blur, enter between 3 and 6 pixels, (you can play around with the opacity to tweak it after applying), grab your eraser tool (soft brush), and brush over the eyes, hair, lips and nostrils to bring back the details, and flatten your image. This is a great way to achieve skin softening in most Photoshop software: Or.this may save you some money if Elements has the tools for this recipe. ![]() There are lots of filters with that software, and it's fun to play around with. ![]() It's ridiculously easy to use, and you can enhance/brighten eyes and soften skin with total control over the opacity and intensity. Kayla, look at AutoFX's Mystical Tone and Tint. INTRODUCTION Simply put, Portraiture helps you portray people the way people wish to portray themselves. Paul, I love totally rad, but it won't run with anything less than CS2, so if Kayla's using older Photoshop software, that won't work. ![]()
